Sewing Machine Basics & Learn to Sew Series, Begins Thursday February 2nd, 12:30pm - 3:30pm
If you have never ever touched a sewing machine (or it's been years since you've sewn something) this is the perfect workshop series to develop basic sewing machine skills and get you started on your sewing journey. In this 3 class series, we begin with the fundamentals from threading a machine, loading a bobbin, sewing a straight stitch, and then work through three exciting projects, reinforcing and cementing the skills you learned while introducing new techniques including zigzag stitch and basic zipper installation. Leave this series armed with a variety of new sewing skills and the confidence to tackle your next sewing project!
Note: Please bring your own portable machine if you'd like to learn how to use it, otherwise we have one for you!
Class materials / Supplies:
Interior Lining 8x12" (x2) Fusible interfacing 8x12" (x2) 12" zipper

NOTE: if you would like to learn how to use a sewing machine and learn to sew, but you are not able to attend a Thursday session, please send an email to info@nestingground.ca with days and times that you are available and I will follow up with you directly to make a date :)
