Willow Tank
The Willow tank is an excellent introduction into garment sewing
This classic tank style is a versatile and reliable staple for all seasons, fitted at the shoulders and falls into a relaxed fit below the bust. The Willow is unfussy, easy to wear, and is perfect for a picnic or an elegant evening out depending on which fabrics you choose!
Techniques involved include working with a pattern, sewing a straight seam, darts, hemming and applying bias facing
Note: Please bring your own portable machine if you prefer to work with it, otherwise we have one for you!
Class materials / Supplies:
Nesting Ground's classes are small and intimate to help ensure participants receive enough personalized attention to learn and complete a project by the end of the session. Participants must be a minimum of 16 yrs and must have completed our Learn to Sew Class OR have equivalent experience for workshops that require the use of a sewing machine. *Materials and supplies are not included in the class fee unless otherwise stated
Payments & Cancellations:
Register online or in person. Space is limited. To reserve your spot, all class fees must be paid for in full at time of registration. Please note, we do not issue refunds for missed classes. Cancellations or changes must be made 48 hours prior to your first class and we will happily issue a store credit towards another class. Cancellations made less than 48 hours of the class start date forfeit their fee entirely
Covid-19 Policies
The health & safety of everyone who visits Nesting Ground continues to be a priority. Face masks that cover your nose and mouth are encouraged but are not mandatory. We ask that you continue to self screen, sanitize and wipe your hands with the sanitizer and wipes provided at the door.
