My First Quilt! An Introduction to Quilting, Friday April 22nd & 29th 12pm - 4pm
Working with a minimal design, this two session workshop series will walk you through all the basics of patchwork quilting from measuring and marking your fabrics, seam allowances, using a rotary cutter, piecing together the quilt top, assembling the top, batting, and back layers through to the binding.
Finished quilt is 36" x 36"
Note: Please bring your own portable machine if you prefer to work with it, otherwise we have one for you!
Class materials / Supplies:
Nesting Ground's classes are small and intimate to help ensure participants receive enough personalized attention to learn and complete a project by the end of the session
Participants must be a minimum of 16 yrs and must have completed our Learn to Sew Class or have equivalent experience for workshops that require the use of a sewing machine.
*Materials and supplies are not included in the class fee unless otherwise stated
Payments & Cancellations: Register online or in person. Space is limited. To reserve your spot, all class fees must be paid for in full at time of registration. Please note, we do not issue refunds for missed classes. Cancellations or changes must be made 48 hours prior to your first class and we will happily issue a store credit towards another class. Cancellations made less than 48 hours of the class start date forfeit their fee entirely
