Hand-Wrapped Fabric Coil Basket, Friday March 31st 6pm - 9pm

Learn how to hand wrap and weave strips of fabric to create your own one-of-a-kind fabric coil basket. Fabric baskets are perfect for storing yarns, knitting, hand craft & stitching projects. Use anywhere in your home you need storage and add colour and texture to your decor.  Fabric baskets are also a thoughtful handmade gift.

Finished size is approximately 12" round x 7" high

*Class fee includes one tapestry needle

To complete a basket 12" round x 7" high

Approximately 2.5 meters of fabric 

Approximately 15 meters of 1/2" thick drapery cord

*Bring your own, or we have fabric & cord available for purchase in the shop. Purchases made for your class will receive a 10% discount (before HST)

Our Class Policies:

Nesting Ground's classes are small and intimate to help ensure participants receive enough personalized attention to learn and complete a project by the end of the session. Participants must be a minimum of 16 yrs and must have completed our Learn to Sew Class OR have equivalent experience for workshops that require the use of a sewing machine. *Materials and supplies are not included in the class fee unless otherwise stated                                                                                                     

Payments & Cancellations:                                                                                        Register online or in person. Space is limited. To reserve your spot, all class fees must be paid for in full at time of registration. Please note, we do not issue refunds for missed classes. Cancellations or changes must be made 48 hours prior to your first class and we will happily issue a store credit towards another class. Cancellations made less than 48 hours of the class start date forfeit their fee entirely

The health & safety of everyone who visits Nesting Ground continues to be a priority. Face masks that cover your nose and mouth are encouraged but are not mandatory. We ask that you continue to self screen, sanitize and wipe your hands with the sanitizer and wipes provided at the door.
