The Flying Geese quilt block is a personal favourite that dates back to the 1800's and is popular in both traditional and modern quilt designs. Learn this classic block and take your quilt piecing skills to a new level.
This session series will walk you through all the basics from fabric selection, measuring and marking your fabrics, using a rotary cutter, setting an accurate seam allowance, machine piecing, assembling the top, batting and back layers, through to the binding.

We will be piecing our geese together in alternating rows, however, we will explore different methods of flying geese construction and possible layouts.

Participants will have the option to complete a baby or throw size quilt.
